At BatonCare (“BatonCare”, “we”, “our”, “us”), the privacy of the Website visitors (“you”, “your”) is important. This Website Privacy Policy describes the personally identifiable information (“personal information”) that we may collect via our informational websites (collectively, the “Website”). BatonCare’s Website is informational and administrative in nature and does not provide medical advice or clinical services. This Website Privacy Policy does not apply to the underlying care coordination services. Information collected in connection with a membership for care coordination services is governed by the Notice of Privacy Practices. The use of the Website is also subject to the Subscription Agreement, as applicable.

This Website Privacy Policy does not apply to any information that constitutes “Protected Health Information” (“PHI”) as defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and its implementing regulations (“HIPAA”). Any PHI collected, used, or disclosed by BatonCare in its capacity as a business associate or covered entity (or otherwise subject to HIPAA) is governed exclusively by BatonCare’s Notice of Privacy Practices or the terms of any applicable Business Associate Agreement, and not by this Website Privacy Policy.

By accessing or using the Website or otherwise providing personal information to us via the Website and contact us methods, you acknowledge and agree to this Website Privacy Policy and consent to our privacy practices described herein, including our use and disclosure of your personal information. If payment is required you may be asked to provide billing details such as financial or bank account information. Please note that we do not store this information ourselves; it is securely processed and stored by Stripe, our third-party payment processor.   • Marketing and Promotions. We collect your email, name, phone number, and preferences. If you participate in promotions we offer, we collect your name and other information related to the activities available through the Website.

This enables us to measure the effectiveness of social media and search ads for statistical and market research purposes. BatonCare’s Website Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. The Website is not intended for children under 13. BatonCare does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13.
